Robert Olson, DDS
Gentlewave Provider

Dr. Olson graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1989. He practiced general dentistry for eight years before pursuing his passion in endodontics. In 1997, Dr. Olson entered his endodontic program and was trained under the direction of Dr. Herbert Schilder at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. Dr. Schilder taught and illustrated the importance of cleaning and shaping the entire “root canal system” and then obturating it in three dimenstions. Dr. Olson is committed to the fundamental clinical objectives taught by Dr. Schilder in practicing a “warm gutta percha” obturation technique that captures the microanatomy of the entire root canal system. He is a strong advocate for the dental operating microscope and uses it in all of his endodontic treatments. Dr. Olson has practiced dentistry and endodontics in Idaho since 1989. Dr. Olson and his wife, Heather, are from Price, Utah. They have three children: Aubrey, Derek, and Deshka. They are very active in sports and enjoy many of the great outdoor activities that Idaho has to offer.
